6A. International Aviation 2015 Art Contest Winner
Thank you Mr. Chairman. We ask parents and guests to remain seated until all awards and recognitions are completed.

The School Board is pleased to recognize Megan Williams - Virginia’s first place winner in the 2015 International Aviation Art Contest.

Megan is a junior enrolled in the Digital Design 1 class at the Advanced Technology Center. Her original drawing took top honors for her age group in the state of Virginia. The theme for this year’s International Aviation Art Contest was “World Air Games.”

Young artists were encouraged to create a poster that captured the excitement of the FAI World Air Games in Dubai where top air sport athletes participate in air shows and aviation competitions.

As you can see on the video screens, Megan’s work is outstanding!

Please join me in congratulating this talented student artist!
