VBGradWall now available to
celebrate the Class of 2016

Virginia Beach City Public Schools’ (VBCPS) graduation season begins this week with the Adult Learning Center’s ceremony May 11 and concludes with Cox High School’s commencement June 18. VBGradWall is now available for families, friends, students and staff to send notes of congratulations to members of the graduating Class of 2016.

Available online at www.vbschools.com/gradwall, each of the school division’s high schools and centers with a scheduled graduation ceremony has its own wall. Messages will be available through June 30.

“We know not all loved ones and friends can be present for graduation ceremonies, but VBGradWall is just one of the ways everyone can take part in the celebration,” said VBCPS Superintendent Aaron Spence. “There are many opportunities, through VBGradWall, livestreaming and social media, for people to participate and share their best wishes with the Class of 2016. We look forward to recognizing the accomplishments of our graduates.”

In addition to posting messages on VBGradWall, social media users are encouraged to use and follow the hashtag #VBCPSGrad on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to share and view celebratory photos.

The complete schedule of VBCPS graduation ceremonies, including a countdown clock to the first high school graduation, is available on the division’s graduation webpage www.vbschools.com/vbcpsgrad. This page will also display a livestream and replays of each ceremony held June 14-18.
