Each school day, approximately 650 buses are on the road transporting students to and from their schools. The division is seeking bus drivers to join its transportation team and greet students at bus stops Sept. 5, the first day of school. Read

Make car rides serene without using screens

Prevent boredom on long car rides by having your child make a travel "survival kit." Give him a shoebox with his name on it. Let him decorate it, then add colored pencils, washable markers, stickers, scrap paper stapled into "pads," envelopes, crossword puzzles and a word search book. For an added bonus, include a snack. The kit will keep your child amused as it encourages his writing and creativity. Read
