The School Locator/Map Center has been updated for the 2009-2010 school year.
If you are new to the area or if you have recently moved from one neighborhood to another in Virginia Beach, the School Locator/Map Center can help you find your assigned elementary, middle, or high school. Except under special circumstances, students are assigned to a school in the attendance zone in which they live according to School Board Policy 5-14 and Regulation 5-14.1. A parent requesting assignment to another school must submit
a Student Placement Request Form with supporting documents.

Official confirmation of school assignments will be confirmed upon registration. If you are unable to find your assigned school or discover an error, please call the Office of Demographics and Planning at 757-263-1055 (Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) or e-mail us at vbschzones@vbschools.com
