Parent Support and Information Center Library
The Parent Support and Information Center maintains a library containing a wide variety of materials to benefit families of students with disabilities. This library includes a collection of books, videos, DVDs, CDs and magazines that highlight disability characteristics, behavior management techniques and instructional strategies. The center, located at 1413 Laskin Road, is open Monday thru Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. during the school year and has abbreviated hours during the summer months (call the Center for specific dates/times). A maximum of five items may be checked out at one time. Books can be checked out for 21 days and CD’s, DVD’s and Video’s can be checked out for seven days.
For your convenience, you may contact the Parent Support and Information Center at 757.263.2066 or Eileen.Ouellette@vbschools.com and arrange to have materials sent to your home school. Any material checked out can be returned to your home school. School staff will forward the materials to the Parent Support and Information Center library.
